London Dungeons

Have you ever been to the London Dungeons? If you haven't you really need to go! It is very scary but also very entertaining.

You follow a group around into different areas of the dungeons where you either have to try and make it to the other side whilst actors try and scare you or you are guided through a particular room my a guide from history.

It is very dark and dingey and some of it is grucesome! I loved it! At the end there is a ride called the hangman. Where you are taken right to the top of the roof and dropped down after the hangman says his speech and lets you go!

That was actually very scary - even though you are probably thinking how high can the dungeon be? My G Star Raw t shirt nearly lifted up!

It was a great day out and I highly recommend it!

A SPOOKY WALK

My friend from Wales has been asking advice on what to do on her next trip to London, which does not involve shopping or theatre! Something different. I had to rack my brains for a little while but came up with a good idea!
Ghost tours, Jack the Ripper walks and Famous Murderstours; there are many different spooky strolls on offer in London.
A few years back my family and I went on one of the ghost tours. We walked past theatres on The Strand and heard of tales of backstage frights and stopped at Charring Cross Station to hear of a murder in a taxi. The walk was very entertaining and also interesting.
You can take in the historic sights of London, whilst hearing about some of the darker sides behind it. The only problem is normally the best time to do the tours are at night, and in the winter it obvious gets darker earlier, but also means it is colder! By the end of the tour I could not feel my feet! So my advice to my friend and if your thinking of going on one is to make sure you wrap up warm!!
