Did you know that Connexions Bedfordshire has gone local?

Since October 2004, the Connexions Service has
‘gone local’. We have employed more staff and we can be accessed close to where you live. We have also listened
to what you want to get out of your
Connexions Service.

Connexions is a national information, advice, guidance and support service for young people between 13 and 19 years of age.
We have a team of friendly, experienced Personal Advisers who are ready to help you. We work in all the local upper schools, colleges
and also in the local community.

We can give you advice on issues such as careers, college courses, jobs, volunteering, relationships, bullying and personal development.
You can come to see us if you want to talk through your ideas, you
are looking for inspiration or just want to chat.

We also have a database of jobs which you can apply for. They can be accessed on our database www.connx-jobs.org.uk or you can look at them at one of our ‘Access Points’.

So, if you are leaving school this summer or are looking for work now, either log on or drop in to see us at one of our ‘Access Points’. We also have an on-line library which has links to all sorts of information from self harm, to Education Maintenance Allowance to Careers in Construction. So have a look at www.connx.org.uk/Connx4U.

You can drop in and see us at:

Arlesey Youth Centre between 3.30pm and 5.30pm on a Wednesday
(last night of the month until 7pm)

Youth Wing, Rufus Centre between 2pm and 4pm on a Thursday

Biggleswade Job Centre on a Wednesday
(by appointment with the Job Centre)

Sandy Youth Club- 2pm to 4pm on 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month

Or if you want further information, please ring the
Mid Beds Team Leader Cathy Sanderson on 01525 842260
